Needless to say a lot about it: Porto de Galinhas is one of the best beach destinations in Brazil. His pictures, characterized by green water between natural pools, will pop eyes and pluck exclamations of the most skeptical.
The district belongs to the municipality of Ipojuca, Pernambuco state, and has the facility of being only 60km away from Recife International Airport (REC). The practicality to get there is the same as if you have to go into the sea and you´ll have no more desire to leave it. The warm and pleasant water throughout the year, invite for a swim and have the potential to gain the heart of people of all ages.
The Praia da Vila, or Porto de Galinhas is one of the hits of the region and the starting point of the fishermen specific boats called “jangadas”, leading to the natural pools where the fishes are. The beauty of nature means everything by itself and makes understanding why Porto is all this success. In Muro Alto Beach, another important place to include in the script is the lull that impresses. The beach looks like a lagoon and those who dive in its waters is in serious danger of not wanting to go home. Porto has different beaches, with different elements, but a singular beauty.
Staying in such a beautiful location has its price and often it is not the most modest. In summer, the destination is crowded and expensive. Porto de Galinhas lives two realities: one of the glamorous resorts and one of the hostels. The location, however, not intefere the fun and visual – wherever you look the scenery is breathtaking.
In addition to the sea, the place offers varied walks, great shops to buy handicrafts, friendly people and the typical regioanl cuisine. In menus, with options for every taste, appreciate the proximity to the sea and the flavors of the hinterland. Hard not to please!
Single, busy, expensive but possible – Porto de Galinhas is a beautiful destination, it’s worth the visit.
